What is CMA data and why does the bank ask for it?
CMA (Credit Monitoring Arrangement) data is a standardised financial analysis format prescribed by RBI for working capital and term loan assessments. It presents past 3 years' actual financial performance and 2 years' projected financials. A well-prepared CMA from a CA significantly increases the probability of loan sanction and better terms.
Can I get a business loan without collateral?
Yes. Under the CGTMSE (Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises) scheme, eligible MSMEs can get collateral-free working capital and term loans up to ₹5 crore from member lending institutions. RDA Advisory prepares the complete MSME loan proposal and assists with Udyam registration, which is required for CGTMSE eligibility.
What is Lease Rental Discounting (LRD)?
LRD is a loan product where the bank lends money against the future rental income from a tenanted commercial property. The bank discounts the present value of future lease rentals and disburses the loan. The tenant's rent is directly credited to the bank account to service the loan. LRD is popular among commercial property owners in Pune's IT corridor (Hinjewadi, Baner, Kharadi).
